Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Price and Variants
Hero MotoCorp has introduced the updated Xtreme 160R 4V in three variants. Here are their introductory ex-showroom prices in Delhi:
- Standard: ₹1.27 lakh
- Pro: ₹1.37 lakh
- Carbon: ₹1.41 lakh
The motorcycle will be available through regular Hero MotoCorp dealerships as well as Hero Premia outlets. Buyers should check with their local dealerships for the latest prices and availability.
Updated Design with New LED Lighting
The new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V features the company’s ‘Cybersharp’ design language. The motorcycle gets revised tank shrouds, reshaped body panels and a more muscular appearance.

Hero has also redesigned the fuel tank to improve knee grip and rider comfort. The updated lighting package includes an auto-illuminating Class D LED headlamp, projector high beam, ambient light sensor and H-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs).
At the rear, the motorcycle features an H-shaped LED tail lamp and full-LED indicators, giving it a distinctive appearance.
163cc Engine Produces 17bhp
The updated Xtreme 160R 4V is powered by a 163cc, four-valve, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 17bhp of power and 14.6Nm of torque.

According to Hero MotoCorp, the motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in 4.4 seconds. The company claims that it is the fastest motorcycle in its segment, although independent performance comparisons would be needed to verify this claim.
Another important improvement concerns maintenance. Hero says the motorcycle does not require an engine oil change or tappet adjustment until 6,000km, potentially reducing the frequency of routine maintenance during the initial ownership period.
Three Riding Modes and Cruise Control
One of the biggest upgrades is the introduction of ride-by-wire electronic throttle control. This technology enables three riding modes: Rain, Road and Sport.

- Rain Mode: Designed for riding in wet or low-grip conditions.
- Road Mode: Intended for everyday riding and regular road conditions.
- Sport Mode: Offers a more responsive riding experience.
Cruise control is also available as standard equipment. It can help maintain a selected speed during longer rides, potentially reducing rider fatigue.
Disc Brakes with Dual-Channel ABS
For braking, the new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V gets a 276mm front petal disc and a 220mm rear disc. Dual-channel ABS is included to help reduce the risk of wheel lock-up during hard braking.
The motorcycle also features Panic Brake Alert, which helps warn surrounding traffic when the rider applies the brakes suddenly and forcefully.
These safety features add to the motorcycle’s equipment package for both city commuting and highway riding.
New TFT Display with Bluetooth Connectivity
The instrument console has received a major upgrade with a new TFT display. It provides information such as riding modes, gear position, shift advisory, cruise-control status, distance to empty and real-time fuel economy. Bluetooth connectivity adds several convenience features, including:
- Call and message alerts
- Music controls
- Smartphone battery information
- Turn-by-turn navigation
These additions give the updated motorcycle a more technology-focused riding experience.
More Comfort and Convenience Features
Hero has also upgraded the rider interface with illuminated soft-touch switchgear, hazard lights and a Type-C fast charger. The brake and clutch levers offer five-step adjustment, allowing riders to customise their reach. The riding triangle has also been revised to improve the overall riding position.
The seat is now 642.9mm long, which is 16mm longer than before. Buyers can choose between single-seat and split-seat layouts, depending on the variant and configuration available.
